Furniture

We like to make things with our own hands, and have made furniture for ourselves and our clients across multiple projects. Featured here are a series of chairs, bookcases, desks and tables. These combine traditional joinery techniques with computer aided design and CNC machining sheet materials such as plywood and valchromat. There is a desire to be efficient with the process - you can cut 4 Celia Chairs from a single piece of 15mm ply, and they stack in a spiralling motion. Below are more details on individual pieces of furniture:

Celia Chair
A lightweight plywood chair, CNC-routed out of 1/4 of a sheet of 15mm plywood and finished with a light wax. Currently on it’s 8th iteration, and available with a curved or straight back. Please contact us for more information or if you would like to purchase one.

BGMC Lectern
A bespoke piece of plywood furniture designed and built by ourselves as part of our Bethnal Green Mission Church project.

La Tourette Bookcase
A plywood piece of staggered storage for a musician that is inspired by Le Corbusier's La Tourette, and designed and built by us.
