Montgomery Hall Redevelopment
A significant development of affordable flats above combined community uses for a church in central London. Conceived with a nod to monastic traditions, the ensemble of medium-sized blocks around a courtyard garden facing a mature tree creates substantial family flats mixed with innovative micro-flats for a truly diverse range of Londoners affected by the housing crisis.
This project is developed to set a generous precedent for religious organisations concerned about the housing crisis in London, and establishes a viable financial model for similar provision of homes. The project delivers a Green-Guide compliant Vicarage within the complex, along with extensive community accommodation which is made available in the day-time for use by the adjoining school.
